Users review: Thor The Dark World is brilliant and really tops the first film. There are a lot of very funny bits in it as well as some dark moments and moving. Perhaps the film is more fun than having the right to be given the subject. Loki was done perfectly and the dialogue between him and Thor was superb.If youre a fan of the first one, it certainly did not disappoint at all. Without spoiling anything, the scale of this film is very Avengers-like in that the action pieces are wonderful. During the row halfway through, I actually switched to my friend and said, that is freakin awesome.Needless to say, I really enjoyed this movie. Each frame is packed with action, heartfelt emotion, humor, drama or intensity. I waited for just to see the crazy mythological monsters destroying nine natural landscape for two hours. Instead, I was surprised by the depth and complexity of this film. You certainly need a brain and your heart is set for this, as opposed to other CGI mishmashes. If you just want a dumb action movie with no plot and then stay away from this wonderful film. Top-level performances and visual effects can be the best Ive seen this year. I must adhere to the most people, and even critics who praised the film. With a true joy and a pleasant experience.
